About the eduwallet

In order to keep pace with the rapid changes in society, it is important that learners develop in a way that suits them. This requires an agile education system in which learners have more control over their own learning and development path without any administrative barriers. That is why we are working on collective agreements and facilities, such as the digital wallet.

Through the eduwallet project we are investigating how a digital wallet enables learners to independently store and share their results and credentials, even after graduation. Such a wallet contains a digital identity (such as eduID) and results & credentials (such as edubadges).

To give you an impression of what an eduwallet might look like and what you can do with it, we have developed a pilot environment. This pilot contains several use cases from vocational, higher professional and university education. It is a test environment, so all persons mentioned are fictional.
